Overview: Menus are the way users navigate through your website. This is also called the “Navigation” and many people also refer to them as “Tabs” in the header and the sidebars on subpages of your website. There are “Top Level” items /pages and pages that are “sub pages” in a dropdown menu under the top level pages or “tabs.” Website footers also have menus with Quick Links. Some header menus have straight, vertical dropdown menus and some use “mega menus” which are columns within a wider dropdown window. To access your header, footer and sidebar menus:
  1. Go to Appearance > Menus.
  2. Select the menu to edit and click Select.
  3. To add a page: Check the box under Pages and click Add to Menu.
  4. Drag and drop menu items to reorder. Drag them to the right under a Top Level page if they are a subpage/dropdown page.
  5. You can edit the label that is shown in the menu under Navigation Label. This will not change the page title, it will only change what it is referred to in the menu/navigation.
  6. Click Save Menu.
For websites using a Mega Menu, see the separate Mega Menu instructions for editing the items/columns.
