Overview

If something on your website looks incorrect, isn’t updating, or appears broken, it’s often caused by caching. Clearing your cache forces the website to reload the newest files and fixes most display issues.

Clearing Cache with WP Rocket

  1. Log in to your WordPress Dashboard.
  2. In the top black admin bar, hover over “WP Rocket”.
  3. Select Clear and Preload Cache.
  4. Wait a few seconds and refresh the page to check if the issue is resolved.

Clearing Cache by Hosting Provider

If your website is hosted on Kinsta or WPEngine, you may need to clear the cache at the hosting level:
  • Kinsta: Click the Clear Cache button in the top right of the WordPress Dashboard.
  • WPEngine: At the top of the Dashboard, open the WPEngine Settings menu and click Clear Cache.
Pro Tip: After clearing the cache, also clear your browser cache (hold the Shift Key while refreshing the page) or use an incognito/private window to ensure you’re viewing the most recent version of your website.
